Currently JSC Girteka manages modern storage facilities for EU goods, established near Vilnius - Minsk highway, as well as Bonded Customs warehouses and Excise warehouse. The warehouses are EU-numbered and certified, entitling the cargo handling and storage both for the EU and export markets. The warehouse can accept all types of cargo (possible storage temperature is -30ºC to +20ºC), the electronic accounting system of incoming/outgoing cargo is implemented, cargo security is ensured by the cameras monitoring the entire territory and by guard officers staying continuously on duty. All the provided services are insured with the insurance of civil liability.

   

Storage areas:

• • cold stores can accommodate up to 13.000 Europallets at a time, and the maintained temperature there varies from -30°C to -18°C. They are designed for storage of frozen products (fish, meat, frozen vegetables & fruits);
  • chilled stores with the maintained temperature from 0° to +10°C can accommodate 7.000 Europallets; these warehouses are utilized for storage of fresh vegetables & fruits, diary and other products, especially susceptible to temperature and humidity. The advanced electronic systems of ventilation, temperature modes & humidity monitoring and air circulation are installed there;
• • Dry stores can accommodate 10.000 Europallets at a time; they are designed for products not requiring the temperature control. It is a proper facility for storage of commodities requiring a higher grade of dry and ventilated storage. This centre offers the storage irrespective from ambient conditions, and is most often used to stock the household appliances, electronics, coffee, tea, paper, apparel, footwear, furniture and other consumer commodities, as well as alcohol beverages, tobacco products.

  • inspection, marking of commodities, preparation for transportation, distribution or sales,
  • sorting, packing of goods, consignment preparation and paletting,
  • marking and labeling of goods,

  • preparation of freightage documents,
  • accounting of commodity flows in the warehouse and reports on the performed operations.
