To provide the complex services of logistics for customers, we are planning soon to start the exploitation of the biggest cold cargo terminal in Baltic port in Ventspils, Latvia for 35000 mt. Here, the cargo transported by vessels, sea containers and Ro/Ro, which will be transported by roads and/or railway later on, will be processed. With the terminals in Vilnius and Ventspils, we shall be able to serve all the possible sea and land cargo flows.

   

We offer our clients to coordinate the transportation by containers and vehicles, to accumulate the goods at the EU border, consolidate them (manufacturers, having the plants all over the world or inside the EU, can consolidate the region-targeted goods and develop their distribution from the warehouse).

Organizing of logistical processes:

By coordinating the different preferential customs warehouse options (customs and goods subject to excise), activities of warehouses and transport division, we combine various services of logistics and methods of transportation into a selection most expedient for a customer, offering the most efficient logistic solutions for the cargo coordination and transportation under the most convenient and favourable conditions for the customer, thus saving the costs:

• • We can handle a part of the manufacturing-technological process, requiring the storage of goods (e.g. cheese ripening) from the manufacturer (seller) and perform it inside our facilities. This way, the customer can easier control the costs of these operations per unit of production, to utilize own premises for the development of production but not for storage, and the most important – to receive this service cheaper than it would cost if performed by himself.

  • For the EU manufacturers and importers from numerous suppliers located in different countries, we can carry the complete and partial cargo to the Girteka’s warehouses and here consolidate, re-distribute, process and combine them according to the customer’s needs, to prepare the export document package and deliver it to the specified location.

  • For the exporters, transporting the goods from the third countries to the EU states, we offer the cargo delivery to the Girteka’s warehouses, their customs clearance, certifications and deliveries to the consignees in the EU countries, according to customer’s needs.

  • We offer the intermodal haulage by different means of transport under the optimal conditions and costs for the customer. The delivery of goods is possible from the EU or third countries in sea containers or vehicles to the Girteka’s customs warehouse in Lithuania, and from there, after the processing, the goods can be transported to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS states by rail or road.

  • We can design logistic systems or their segments, i.e. we are providing solutions for our customers on how, by focusing on the maximum efficiency, the chain of their logistical processes should be arranged. We can completely handle all the operations of organizing the logistics of the customer and to provide the so-called third party logistical (3PL) service. By offering this service, we provide the possibility for our customer to refuse his in-house divisions of logistics and to outsource the logistical operations. This way, the customer can optimize his logistical costs and more efficiently manage his main activities.
